You may already be familiar with life coaches and what they can do to help you reach your goals and move forward in life. They can help you change your life and feel happier. A spiritual life coach can help you do these things too, but they take a bit of a different approach than a life coach that isn’t spiritual or intuitive.
A spiritual life coach helps you achieve your goals by deepening your connection with your soul and opening you up to incorporating more spirituality in your life. They can help you in all areas of your life from dealing with your role as a parent to choosing a new career or starting a business.
Sometimes it’s hard to pinpoint what’s going on in your life that’s causing you stress. You might have an underlying feeling that there’s more out there, or you maybe you want to stop repeating the same negative patterns but can’t seem to figure out how.
Sometimes the key to getting unstuck is discovering what your deeper purpose is. A spiritual life coach can help you figure that out, just like a non-spiritual life coach can, but they have different tools at their disposal which means a greater opportunity for you.
The role of spirituality
Spiritual life coaches deal primarily with energy, which means they can read your energy and they will use this information to help you. They will also use their intuition to help guide you to the answers you are looking for. They will also teach you how to use and trust your own intuition.
Some spiritual life coaches will incorporate divination tools like oracle cards, crystals, essential oils, or meditation in their coaching practice. They will teach you how to use these tools to get unstuck and live your best life.
How to find the right spiritual life coach
Finding a spiritual life coach isn’t much different from finding any other coach. The key is to find someone you feel comfortable with who has experience working in the area where you need help. You will be sharing very personal information with this person so, you need to feel comfortable and if they can’t help you reach your goals, then what’s the point?
So, how do you find this person?
Start by asking questions. If you’d like to work on your relationship with your children or your parenting skills, you’ll want to ask if the coach works with moms. If you want to start a business or change careers, you’ll want to ask if the coach can help you with this. Clearly identifying your goals can help you ask the right questions.
Next, you’ll want to find out if the coach’s spiritual beliefs align with yours. Spirituality is very different from religion. You want to make sure your coach’s beliefs are similar to yours, because if they’re not, this could prevent you from fully opening up and sharing your experiences.
You may find a coach that has different beliefs than yours yet you still feel very comfortable with them and that is great! Trust and comfort are the most important things when it comes to working with any type of coach.
Most coaches offer a discovery call or complimentary consultation. This is the perfect time to ask all your questions and the coach’s answers will give you a sense of how you feel about working with them. Hiring a coach is a big decision. Take some time and do your research.
