How many times do we think terrible thoughts about ourselves in a day? You know the ones I’m talking about: I’m not worthy, I look terrible, or nobody will like me. I’ve thought these things about myself as well as many other self-sabotaging thoughts. Before I discovered Chakra healing, this is how I felt about myself:
- I’m selfish
- I’m not worthy
- I don’t workout enough
- I’m a show off
With all these insecurities, I also often wondered what people would think of me.
Thankfully, I discovered Chakra healing and put an end to those self-sabotaging thoughts. There are many ways Chakra healing can help us but for today I’d like to focus on these three: knowing your inner self, releasing and expressing emotions in a healthy way, and removing negative energy.
Removing Bad Energy
Removing bad energy will help your body physically, emotionally, and mentally. When your Chakras are clear and balanced, you remove catalysts for things like the negative self-talk I was experiencing. Regular Chakra clearings will help you feel more positive about yourself.
Expressing Emotions in a Healthy Way
We’ve often been taught that it’s not okay to feel a certain way so we keep our emotions bottled up inside. This isn’t healthy! Healing your Chakras allows you to release unwanted negative emotions in a healthy way, making room for positive energy.
Knowing Your Inner Self
Once you have started working on healing your Chakras, you begin to know your inner self and your true purpose in life. As you do more work on your Chakras and they become more healed and balanced, you learn more and more about your inner self which also helps you get over negative feelings towards yourself and others.
How to Start Healing Your Chakras
Chakras can be healed in a number of ways. Something as simple as getting outside can help heal your Chakras. Self-meditation, visualization, and Reiki are excellent ways to heal and balance your Chakras and they are the main ways I was able to heal my own Chakras.
Reiki is an ancient Japanese technique using “life force energy” supplied at the hands of someone who has been attuned to practice Reiki. One of the amazing things about Reiki is that it uses a whole person approach. For example, while you may seek treatment for depression, you may notice many positive side effects of your treatment because not only does Reiki treat the mind but it also treats the body, our spirit, and our emotions too.
Thanks to Reiki and Chakra healing, these are the thoughts I now think about myself:
- I am beautiful
- I cherish my body
- I am proud to be myself
- If you don’t like me, keep moving!
Nothing brings me more joy than helping other people turn around negative feelings about themselves so they can live a more positive life and begin to realize their true potential.
